This morning at 10, I received a call from a man who didn’t identify himself at first, but ended up being named Steve. He’d found my website and explained that he was in Rochester for the week. He then asked if I was in the area and wondered if I would give him a massage at his hotel.
The answers to these two questions were and are of course, “No” and “Definitely not.”
It isn’t quite safe (for a 24-year-old woman at least) and it doesn’t make much sense to me professionally.
I feel like it’s the same as asking a florist to make you a flower arrangement in your garage or a doctor to give you a physical and write you a prescription in your bedroom.
In my experience, better massages are given in a massage therapist’s own space. I work at a fantastic office and I would be crazy not to use the place. So please call me to come in and see me on Beach Road. My massage room is better than any arrangement the Marriott can offer.
